INTRODUCTION -
Employee relations is the practice of managing the relationship between an organization and its employee. The goal of employee relations is to create a positive work environment and keep employee keep employee engaged and loyal. An employee relation has replaced industrial relations as the term for defining the relationship between employers and employee. Employee relation is seen as focusing on both individual and collective relationship, in the workplace , with an increasing emphasis on helping line managers established trust based relationship with employees. A positive climate of employee relations- with high levels of employees involvement , commitment and engagement - can improve business outcomes as well as contribute to employees well - being.

Employee should pay attention to mechanism that contribute to good employee relations, such as effective approaches for employee voice including two way communication , joint consultation , employee attitude engagement surveys and a partnership style of working.
